I’m Jonathan Lief, an ICAEW Chartered Accountant providing clear, reliable and high-quality accounting, tax and financial support to founders building and growing online businesses.

With over seven years’ experience across professional practice and industry, I have worked with owner-managed businesses and high-growth companies. I trained in audit and assurance at a large global firm before moving into senior in-house finance roles in private and listed companies, giving me a strong technical foundation alongside a practical, commercially focused approach. During my training, I achieved one of the highest examination results among ACA candidates globally.

I later worked in finance roles within fast-growing consumer and technology businesses, including Deliveroo and Moonpig. That experience gave me first-hand exposure to the operational and financial challenges faced by modern digital businesses and online brands, and now informs the way I support clients through NewLief.

I established NewLief to provide a modern, proactive and personalised alternative to traditional firms. My focus is on helping founders stay compliant, understand their numbers and feel supported as their businesses grow — combining professional accounting and tax expertise with practical financial support tailored to their needs.

As the owner of an ICAEW-regulated firm, I adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring every client’s affairs are handled with care, integrity and discretion.
